Oh, I have a few ideas in mind for more power-ups! >:D
And funny you mention permanent power-ups, I wanted to originally make this a more open-world-ish game, where you can interact with NPCs, do some puzzles and fight some bosses. (But way too ambitious for a game jam that only gives you a week to make a game lol)
Maybe for a possible sequel/ spin-off? ;D

Water jelly I like how it's painted, it looks like gelatin, but the black shading lines are very thick and few, they make the gelatin look like something solid, maybe you should try putting thinner lines and in greater quantities?
